Step 4: Register Profile

In this guide, you will learn how to register a Profile in the Apple Developer Portal.

Before you start, ensure you have the following:

Step-by-step guide​

  1. Navigate to the Profiles section.
  2. Press the + button to register a new Provisioning Profile.
  3. Select iOS App Development under the Development section and press Continue.
  4. Select the Abra Wildcard (XXXXX.ai.abra.*) App ID from the dropdown and press Continue.
  5. Select the Certificates that you wish to include and press Continue.
  6. Select the Devices that you wish to include and press Continue.
  7. Enter a name for your provisioning profile, e.g. Abra Wildcard (2025-01-01).
  8. Press Generate and wait a few seconds.
  9. Press Download to download the Provisioning Profile.

The downloaded file, e.g. Abra_Wildcard_2025_01_01.mobileprovision can be used to resign.

tip

If you have previously registered devices and are now adding a new one, make sure the new provisioning profile includes both the old and the new devices - Abra Desktop only recognizes devices listed in the latest provisioning profile.
