Scanning
Abra Desktop can run automated accessibility scans on Android devices, Android emulators, iOS devices and iOS simulators.
New scan
- Open Abra Desktop.
- Select your Organisation in the sidebar.
- Select your Team in the sidebar.
- Select your App in the sidebar.
- Select your Report from the list of reports.
- Select your Screen from the list of screens.
- Select your Device from the top-left corner.
- Press the
Start testing
button next to the device dropdown. - Wait a moment while Abra Desktop installs and starts the test suite on your device...
- Press the
Scan screen
button in the top-right corner. - Wait a moment while Abra Desktop scans the active screen and uploads the results...
- The list of results will automatically refresh after the scan has finished.
tip
After the test suite has started, you can change your organisation, team, app, report, screen or rules. The changes will be communicated when the Scan screen
button is pressed.


Scan not working?

If Abra Desktop can detect your device, you should be able to run scans.
- Check if your device is unlocked.
- Check if your device has a working internet connection.
No setup is required for iOS simulators.
To test on physical iOS devices, you need to setup resigning.
